our community  events

Down at The Baltic Farm we host Community Events each month for local  residents and business owners in the surrounding area.

During these events  we  host various workshops and activities suitable for all ages and abilities. Through these events we hope to reconnect people with real food and create a space that provides a true sense of place, where all members of our community can come and feel welcome, enjoy good food, take part in empowering workshops.

The most recent events have been focused around building our raised beds to start planting our propagated seeds. Other activities have include: bee hive decoration, seed propagating, compost mixing, giant bubble making, weaving workshops, eco-brick making & compost toilet construction.

These events are a great opportunity for  you to bring the whole family down and get your hands dirty and work together on a shared project and create a beautiful space for everyone to enjoy.

We have a small and growing allotment at The Baltic Farm and we could use all the help we can get so come on down, give us a hand and share some food with us!
